Mr. Scott Young is responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining relationships with the highest levels of leadership within Hallmark, within the Hallmark family of companies, retailers, key licensors, CPG companies, and industry trade groups and associations. He leverages these relationships to drive sales, augment and facilitate communication, negotiate agreements, knock down silos, and ensures Hallmark is viewed by our retailers as the strategic partner in the connecting space. Mr. Young is also accountable for securing profitable new business opportunities for the Hallmark family of companies, assisting and sometimes leading negotiations to maintain current revenue, and bringing an outside perspective to our internal discussions.

Mr. Young is the embodiment of the Hallmark culture. He is inclusive, values relationships, leads with high moral and ethical standards. In his role since January 2014, Mr. Young has made a tremendous impact at Hallmark in his first year. Mr. Young also has a long history of service within his community. While in Atlanta, Mr. Young was active in many community and civic organizations including Breakthrough Atlanta, Habitat for Humanity and Harvesters. He has continued his commitment to service in Kansas City by participating in the Christmas in October project bringing volunteers and communities to homes of low-income, elderly, disabled and Veteran homeowners.

Mr. Young acquired his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
